Soprano
Cliff is a dedicated instrumentalist with more than 10years of experience. He's a composer, musical arranger, instrument trainer and a talented player. Plays a variety of instruments including the guitar, drum and steel pan, just to mention a few.

Drummer
Sibusiso is an enthusiastic drummer who started with the band as a tenor player. His ability to shift from one instrument to the other makes him versatile and able to understand the core of musical notes and arrangments.

Keyboardist
Orlando is a composer and solo artist in his own right. He has performed since he was young for different bands. He produces magic on the keys and redefines marimba music through the ears of the keyboard.

Percussionist & Vocalist
The West African born star brings a unique sound of the Djembe drum and voice to bring together West and Southern Africa. A solo musician, percussionist and djembe trainer. Yulele wows his audience from the 1st note he hits on vocals.

Baritone
Quinton started as a dancer and musician 12years ago. His transformative ability to adjust has made himself as one of the emerging music trainer. He has travelled to a number of countries globally. Currently, he is teaching Marimba music at a number of schools around Johannesburg and also learning the recorder.

Marketing and Public Relations
Snypper is a multi-disciplined artist who has travelled around the globe performing and teaching all forms of performances. Due to his vast experience, he now holds the marketing and PR of the band.

Saxaphonist
A great talent from Pretoria in Soshanguve , Phemelo is a musical student at the University of Johannesburg studying basic music theory, guitar and music production.. Apart from being a tenor & alto saxophonist, he's also a trombonist.
He started playing the trombone in 2016, hence he does wonders on the air-blown instrument (Saxophone).

Guitarist
Andile hails from KZN in Newcastle and is currently a lead and rhythm guitarist for the Friendly Drummers. He specializes in funk, RNB, alternative (hip hop ), blues and hip hop. Andile has been playing the guitar for 5 years. He is the founder of the band called P.L.A.Y. He joined the Friendly Drummers in 2020.
